Hello from School

Date: 13th Jan 2021 @ 4:01pm

Hello everyone!

Well what a strange time we are having yet again, at our school and all across the country.  I am really impressed with all of the hard work that has gone into our remote learning so far.  In one week, all of the teachers have set some really interesting and challenging work for you.  I have been looking at the work you have been sending in.  It is great to see so many of you working really hard and trying to do your work as well as you have been in school.

This week, I have been looking at all of the results from the tests we did in December.  The results are fantastic and show that you have all made a huge effort last term to catch up with the work you may have missed during Lockdown 1.  You have learnt your spellings, really listened in class during Maths and English lessons and have done us and yourselves proud with such awesome efforts.  That is why it is really important that you keep it up and do all of the work your teachers set for you.  That way, when we do get back to school, you'll be where you should be in your learning.

I have been sent a PE challenge video from Mr Harris, which you can watch below.

As I do not have a class to set work for, I thought I would remind you of my Winter Challenge - with every piece of work worth 30TP.  I can't wait to see them, when we get back to school.

I have also set you a writing challenge.  Click on the link to meet Super Squirrel and have a go at one of the writing challenges all about her adventures.  If you do it on the computer you can get your Mum or Dad to email it to me at head@archbishophuttons.lancs.sch.uk

I promise to read them all and I will award lots of team points for the best writing.

Stay safe.  Keep learning and be good for the adults in your life.  They are just as fed up and tired as you are.

All the best, Mr Pugh
