Welcome to Archbishop Hutton's
At Archbishop Hutton’s, our pupils have big ambitions and high expectations of themselves. We are an outward looking school, with a strong sense of our place in the local community. Our rich and exciting curriculum is driven by the children. It enables each child to develop academically, emotionally, creatively, socially and physically. Our question based learning opportunities enable the children to share ideas, express their opinions and apply knowledge and skills learned in a wide range of meaningful contexts.
At our school, all children are encouraged and challenged to be the very best they can be. We want our pupils to have fun at school and be active learners. Our children question, investigate and challenge themselves. They are able to do this because of our strong focus on appropriate support, independence, inquisitiveness and resilience.
I believe that when parents and staff work in partnership they provide the best possible support for their children. Therefore, I look forward to getting to know you and your child as we embark on their journey through primary school together.
We welcome prospective parents and visitors to our school and would love the opportunity to show you round - however in the current situation we can't do this. Instead, watch our video below, download our very detailed Parent Guide (in the yellow Parents section above) and listen to our welcome podcast - Listen to this...The ABH podcast.

See for yourself why our children are rightly proud of their achievements and we are proud of all of them.
