Our Vision Satement

A tree is known by its fruit

Matthew 12:33

We develop and nurture the growth of positive and inspired young people.

Hard work and strong values bear fruit in our successes, now and in the future.

Here at Archbishop Hutton’s, our pupils have big ambitions and high expectations of themselves. They have a strong sense of their place in the world and in their local community. Our rich and exciting curriculum is driven by the children, enabling everyone to develop academically, emotionally, creatively, socially and physically.  Our enquiry based learning opportunities enable the children to share ideas, express their opinions and apply knowledge learned in a wide range of meaningful contexts.

At our school, everyone is encouraged and challenged to be the very best they can be. We have fun at school and are inspired, active learners who investigate and challenge ourselves.  They are able to do this because of our strong focus on appropriate support, independence, inquisitiveness and resilience.

  • We promote the values of respectful behaviour, responsibility and forgiveness - preparing our children for life in a global, multi-faith society.
  • We support all children to become independent thinkers and confident learners - encouraging curiosity, ambition and individuality.
  • We provide focused, engaging and inclusive learning experiences - equipping the children to lead their own learning in a supportive and challenging environment.

We welcome prospective parents and visitors to our school and would love the opportunity to show you round. Give us a call and make an appointment. Why not watch our video below and download our very detailed Parent Guide (in the blue Parents section above)

See for yourself why our children are rightly proud of their achievements and we are proud of all of them.
